Photography has always been my way of connecting with the world, and for me, it all started with landscapes and historical parks. I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of capturing history—freezing moments in time, whether it was an old stone building or a storm rolling in over an open field. There’s something about the weight of history combined with the drama of nature that drew me in. I leaned towards a more “dark and stormy” vibe, creating moody, mysterious images that had an almost cinematic feel to them. It wasn’t just the landscapes themselves, but the stories they carried—the whispers of time, the forgotten corners, the changing weather. Those images were like windows to the past, and I loved every second of it.
As I shared my work, I had some acquaintances reach out, asking if I could do a similar “dark and stormy” style photoshoot with people instead of landscapes. It was something new for me, but I was intrigued. The more I worked with clients, the more I realized how much I enjoyed interacting with people, listening to their stories, and bringing their vision to life. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone’s idea unfold through the lens, and it felt like the natural next step in my photography journey.
Working with clients has been such a transformative experience. It’s not just about snapping a photo—it’s about collaboration, understanding, and translating someone’s dream into reality. Over the years, as I’ve grown as both an artist and a photographer, I’ve noticed a shift in my work. You can probably see it too, if you browse through my portfolio. My early work has that dark, moody aesthetic, but lately, my images have started to brighten up. They’re lighter, sunnier, more vibrant—and I think that evolution reflects the happiness I see in front of the camera.
When I photograph families, couples, or individuals, and they light up with laughter or excitement, I feel that energy. It’s contagious. That brightness has made its way into my images, not because I’m stepping away from my original style, but because I’m following the mood of the moment. Don’t get me wrong—I still love a good stormy, dramatic shot, and I’m always down for a moody photoshoot in a fog-covered graveyard or against a brooding sky. But lately, those lively, sun-drenched photos have captured my heart too, and I’m happy to embrace it. I don’t hate it at all!
Ultimately, my goal as a photographer is simple: I’m here to make you happy. Whether you want a light and airy family shoot at a park, or a dark and moody session with some gothic vibes, I’ve got you covered. The skies (and moods) are the limit! I’m always open to hearing your ideas and inspirations, and if you’re not sure what direction you want to go in, that’s totally okay. I’m more than happy to offer suggestions and help guide the process so that your vision comes to life in the best possible way.
So, what’s your vibe? Let’s create something special together, whether it’s light and joyful or dark and mysterious—or something completely unexpected! Whatever your vision may be, I’m excited to bring it to life.
